Thank you for visiting. As Mayor of Irricana, my commitment is simple: to serve our community with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and open communication.

Ever heard something about municipal government and wondered if it's actually true? I'm debunking common myths—one at a time.

Got a question? A concern? I'd love to hear from you. Here's how to get in touch—and why civility matters when we do.

Sometimes I write about what's happening in Irricana. Sometimes I write about what I'm learning as Mayor. Always honest, always mine. Read my latest musings.

About Mayor MacLeod

Mayor Colleen MacLeod has deep rural roots, having grown up on a cattle and grain farm in southern Saskatchewan. She completed degrees in psychology at the University of Saskatchewan and continued her education at the University of Calgary after moving to Alberta in 1990. Dr. MacLeod applied her education throughout a career in public service, healthcare, and education before retiring and being elected to Irricana Town Council in October 2025.

Colleen has called Irricana home for 18 years with her partner Brian. Their four adult daughters previously attended Kathryn and Beiseker schools. When she's not serving the community, Colleen enjoys gardening, genealogy, documentaries, reading, road trips, and walks around town with her dog Lizzy.

"We must hold our vision of a better world and work toward it with all our strength."
